My research involves a mix of psychometric modeling and the experimentation/modeling that arises from cognitive science and mathematical psychology. In short, I use statistical models and methods to study psychological topics in a rigorous manner.
Specific research interests include
Bayesian latent variable models
Forecasting and subjective probability: Aggregation, evaluation, crowdsourcing/wisdom of crowds
Psychometric measurement: Test/item bias and fairness
Statistical modeling: Estimation, selection, software
My work has been funded through grants from the National Science Foundation and the Intelligence Advanced Research Projects Activity. For more information, see the above links.
