Graduate Research Assistants

Multiple graduate research assistant positions at Ph.D. level are available. Students with background in molecular dynamics simulation, ultrashort pulsed-laser material processing, micro- and nanoscale heat transfer, computational heat transfer, heat transfer in material processing and manufacturing are encouraged to apply. Strong programming skill in one major computer language (FORTRAN, C or MATLAB) is essential. Experimental skill in laser materials processing and manufacturing will be a plus. Publication records in peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings will be given most favorable consideration.

The assistantship includes a monthly stipend, tuition waiver, and health insurance.
