Graduate Research Assistantship in Musculoskeletal Biomechanics

Qualifications: Undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. MS degree preferred.

The Mizzou Movement Analysis Center (Mizzou MAC) at the University of Missouri is seeking applicants for a Graduate Research Assistantships. Researchers will work in a collaborative environment that includes engineers, physical therapists, orthopaedic surgeons, exercise scientists and athletic trainers. The mission of the Mizzou MAC is to combine the tools of engineering (computational analysis, instrumentation, measurement, and mechanical design) with the clinical expertise of physical therapy and orthopaedics to address issues of musculoskeletal health.

Experience in musculoskeletal biomechanics, computational musculoskeletal modeling, and gait measurement is desired.
